A week before knowing…
We were travelling early January for a Vacation, di pa kami aware na may dala na palang bata yung jowa ko. Di naman kasi sya nag pakita ng signs of pregnancy or symptoms kaya bulag na bulag kami and wala talaga sa isip namin.. We were very happy (too happy I guess), kaya nag expect kami na may kapalit na problema (we are not exaggerating)..
A week after our vacation…
Sinasabi lagi ng jowa ko na lagi shang pagod tapos yung mga foods and deserts na gustong gusto nya dati ay tig-iisang kagat nalang bago inuumay.. She really used to have an appetite for sweet things kaya sinabi niya saakin na what if buntis daw siya.. Ofc dinedeny ko kasi mahilig niya akong sinusungit ng ganyan.. Also after our vacation, I have undergone a terrible stomach pain, yung di ka natatae pero sobrang sakit ng tiyan mo at lagi kang tumitighab na feel niya din yun after na resolve ko na yung saakin kaya akala ko coincidence lang.. After that we decided to do pregnancy tests.
After Pregnancy Tests…
I bought 3 pregnancy tests for her and advised her to take it immediately pero sabi niya bukas na daw after waking up kasi mas concentrated daw yung hCG level… When I woke up, sinalubong niya agad ako na buntis daw siya pero pabiro, kaya di ako naniwala kasi mahirap talaga shang paniwalain kahit sobrang obvious na (in denial lang talaga ako)… so nag book kami ng room sa dormitel and when she arrived, pinakita niya agad sakin.. Na shock ako pero di ako disappointed or galit or takot, we had it coming kasi and she already made up her mind, matagal na, na she will terminate it daw.. After hearing that, nalungkot ako ng sobrasobra kasi anak namin yun tapos di niya na binigyan ng chance mabuhay.. I know din naman na sobrang strict ng parents niya and isang sem nalng before our graduation tapos achiever din naman kaming dalawa kaya naiintindihan at nauunawaan ko siya.. We also told our closest friends kasi we really need to share our problem to ease our worries..

We received the package via lbc as promised and it was packed discreetly (in our case, as vitamins). And we planned to do it in the next couple of days when there are no classes.
Day 1 and 2…
We carefully followed the instructions given to us by our consultant, sir JJ. Day 1 is okay, but day 2, she started to bleed but in a normal way. We kept on updating sir JJ until the 3rd day.
Day 3…
On day 3, we rented a condo because we are told that day 3 is the most painful and longest method. We really bought all the items on the checklist given by our consultant. During the 4pm mark, the start of the longest method, we followed the intake instructions as well as the necessary preparations if there was an emergency. The first hours were very painful to her, her face and reaction says it all. She is the strongest woman i know, she doesnt get hurt that easily, so when she does get hurt, it really must be very very painful to bear. The pain went away after probably 5-10 mins. After that, on 7pm, we took the 2nd rounds of buccal intake. Everything went very well.. Of course she was very hot tempered because of dehydration, hunger, and an upset stomach. At almost 12 am, she made me check her diaper and i saw something unusual and because she can no longer bear her suffering, she went to the cr, peed and there it was, the POC that our consultant described. We send it to our consultant and we waited for the go signal to eat, drink, and take a bath.
After the termination…
I was the one who was very heartbroken because I was really ready to accept him/her no matter the consequences. But I can understand why my partner decided to terminate it.. We gave it a proper burial, and we even considered cremating it.
To Val (our very first baby),
we are very sorry baby.. I know that it was our own doing and decision that made you but we really are just not ready val. I hope you will come back to us when we are ready baby.. i know it doesnt concur with our actions, but we really do love you and want you in our life. You will always be in our minds and hearts. I hope you will understand baby. Goodbye and sorry Val, we really promise that we will do better.
